It's Frostbite in June!

We did not get any snow this time around, with Frostbite TT rescheduled from February to June. We had warm and sunny weather that produced fast speed. To make things interesting course was extended by 0.2 miles from previous year.

The team had great results with Karen and Suzie taken 1st and second in Women 3, Andrew, RC and Alison finishing in top ten in their categories, and Alex winning TT with the best time of the day.

Test of Endurance 50

Brian represented Farestart at the epic 50 miles test of endurance ( pun intended) cross country mountain bike race, capturing 6th place in Men category 2 field.

Elkhorn Classic

After getting bronze last week at OBRA individual Time Trial Championships in Senior Men category, Alex posted another podium result during Elkhorn Stage #2 in Men 1/2 field.

Carnation Time Trial Series

The team was in force at the last installment of Carnation Time Trial Series this year, put by our own Neal Goldberg's Footworks Cycles. Karen claimed first place in W3 category and Dustin, Jed and Alison grabbed 2nd places in their respective category. The ride put Dustin on the podium in overall series standing.

Capital Stage Race

Farestart p/b Cobalt Mortgage made a clean sweep at Capital Stage Race, taking 3 wins and scoring 16 top tens in individual stages. After crushing TT and climbing well in road race, Dustin finished 3rd in General Classification for Men 1/2.

Men 3 field was dominated by Farestart, with Dave taking a win on stage 1 and Tony taking the Queen stage #4. Jeff and Ryan were consistently placing in each stage finishing high in GC, 5th and 9th respectively.

RC placed top ten in each (!) stage of the Master field, earning 5th place in overall GC.
Tim placed 7th in TT, just 24 seconds off the best time in Men 4 field.
